FRANEAN GEAR OIL SP/EP - 220
 
DESCRIPTION
FRANEAN SP/EP - 220 gear oil is a premium quality lubricant based on highly refined mineral oil enhanced with a sulphur/phosphorus extreme pressure additive technology formulated to provide outstanding thermal stability and high load carrying capacity. 
 
APPLICATION
Franean SP/EP 220 is recommended for the lubrication of industrial gear boxes using forced circulation or splash and oil bath lubrication. Specific applications include: 
Drives for presses, conveyors, agitators, pumps, mixers, extruders, and fans.
Rolling and journal bearings, especially those operating under heavy loads and low speeds.
Drives where the manufacturer specifies use of mineral based SP/EP gear oils. 
 
Franean SP/EP - 220 has very good viscosity characteristics to ensure starting torques are not excessively high in cold operating conditions. The additives are compatible with the ferrous and non-ferrous metals used in industrial gear units.
